What is the Conscious Consumer Course

The Conscious Consumer course is a 4-week online course that further explores the ideas of consumer culture, impact, and positive action through articles, podcasts, talks, group discussions, and mindfulness reflections.
The intention is that the course will help participants:

Be more knowledgeable about consumer-related systems and the impact of unconscious consumption on the environment, other humans, and non-human animals.

Have a deeper understanding of their values and reduce the gap between values and actions.

Feel energized to make shifts in their personal lives that will help them feel more conscious and connected in their consumer habits.

Feel empowered to contribute to broader systems change for more conscious production and consumption in our communities and world.

Know they are not alone in their conscious consumer efforts.​
